The biggest reason for Dwarf Racing®’s success has been our system of international talents and specialist coming together for the same goal. Do not get us wrong, we may not be the world’s best, however, we think we are better engineers and manufacturers than our competitors. We are convinced that our single greatest advantage over our competition is our system of global distribution and product support. The backbone of that system is our independent dealers around the world who sell and service products. They have played a pivotal role in helping us build and maintain close relationships with customers and gain insights into how we can improve our products and services to better fill customers’ needs.
Many features of Dwarf Racing®’s distribution system are tailored to meet the unique characteristics of our industry. For instance, our industry’s sales volume is relatively low. Even though we can customize some features, the same standard product can be sold throughout the world. Forged metal parts are expensive, but they can stay in service for 10 years and beyond; many still stay in service for up to 20 years if not abused. And finally, because these products operate in extremely tough environments, even the best-made, most durable metal parts wear out and have parts that must be rebuilt or replaced, which requires an organization that can service products quickly to minimize downtime.
Nevertheless, we believe the tight working relationships we have forged with our independent dealers to meet our customers’ needs hold lessons for other manufacturers of relatively standard big-ticket products that require after-sales service and support.
Independent local dealers know more about their customers’ needs than Dwarf Racing® ever could.
Local dealers who are long-established members of their communities can get closer to customers than a global company can on its own; but to tap the full potential of such dealers, a company must forge extremely close ties with them and integrate them into its critical business systems. When treated in this way, dealers can serve as sources of market information and intelligence, as proxies for customers, as consultants, and as problem solvers. Indeed, our dealers play a vital role in almost every aspect of our business, including product design and delivery, service and field support.
Dealers can be much more than a channel to customers. They can play an important role in providing customers with a wide range of services before and after the sale. Those services include advice on the selection and application of a product.
Creating an outstanding distribution organization requires significant investments by both the company and its independent dealers. Although those investments take the usual forms of money and capital assets, they also include softer assets such as training and developing a common understanding of what it takes to provide superior customer service.
Within the further extension of our export distribution network with DHL & FEDEX, we are also opened to engage in a co-operation opportunity with international business partners, to assist in providing our clients with Dwarf Racing®’s high-quality products and professional support. We are looking for international distributors to further develop our international sales network for our products.
