FAQ

Frequent Asked Questions

A. This is one of the questions that we LOVE to answer. The straightforward answer is our team comprises of CRAZY talented engineers each a specialist in their department. We come together to engineer and produce the best products for our clients worldwide. We do not believe in “SKIMP AND SAVE” to make the most profits out from our clients.

At Dwarf Racing®, we value QUALITY over QUANTITY.

We take REPLICA (FAKE) wheels very seriously, and that is why we focus on AUTHENTICITY and metal test reports to maintain the highest level of quality and assurance. We have invested a lot of time and money on this, just to make our clients feel assured.

Before any wheel exits our factory and shipped to our clients, it goes through an extensive quality check ensuring it lives up to our standards. Our packaging is specifically designed (4 LAYERS) to keep your wheels safe regardless of how far they are traveling because we want them to reach you in perfect condition.

We put great efforts in focusing on packaging, because all our products, including our FORGED WHEELS can be the perfect gift for him/her, suitable for any occasion.

A. This question has been brought up to us many times over all these years. The REGRETFUL issue here is that this industry is HIGHLY IRREGULATED in most countries around the world. The simplest thing to do is to check the credibility of the “DEALER” or the “SELLER”, you may do a search on the company in that individual country. A general rule of thumb is to see if the “COMPANY” or “SELLER” is a legal registered entity. Secondly, check the “SUM” assured by that company, these are all the tell-tale signs of a “FISHY” or “SHADY” company. Thirdly, if you have bought an “INTERNATIONAL BRAND”, you will be able to check with the principal company if the “SELLER” is a registered authorized dealer or agent.

Do a simple google search on the “COMPANY”, check and understand the history of the “COMPANY” to know if it exists. If the “COMPANY” or “SELLER” has been involved with other products or services before, and suddenly starts marketing “FORGED WHEELS” to their product line up. To quote you an example for better understand, it is like buying a car from a furniture company.

More often than not, these “SELLERS” or “COMPANIES” are not specialized in what they do, as such, they value PROFITS over QUALITY.

Be EXTREMELY careful when purchasing your next set of wheels, we come to know a few “INTERNATIONAL” brands which have “DEALERS” selling them all around the world without even being listed on the principle’s “AUTHORIZED DEALER” list. Surprising to us, some “BRANDS” do not even have a list of “AUTHORIZED DEALERS”, be cautious and vigilant when purchasing from such “BRANDS.

A. YES. Brands do matter a lot in terms of quality control and safety assurance. Big brands have very high and strict quality control, that is why they command a higher final selling price. A lot of research & development goes through behind the scenes in a wheel making process before it ends up in a showroom.

Which is also the reason why many individual factories replicate the big brands to sell them to the world for a huge profit. Often, this factories around the world mass produce a certain replica design with inferior manufacturing methods or metals which have not been tested and certified. For normal street use on a perfectly flat road on a lightweight car, that is fine. However, for countries which do not have the luxury of having perfectly flat road, that is extremely DANGEROUS.

To help you understand the importance of a brand, let us quote an example. The time has come for you to change a new set of tires, you set your mind on getting a set of “Bridgestone RE71RS or Michelin Pilot Sport”. If the shop recommends you a set of unbranded tires that has the same exact tread design at 50% of the price, WOULD YOU BUY?

Let us explain, one fine example happened recently. An acquaintance of ours told us he just installed a brand new “BBS” wheel set from the factory, claiming he pre-ordered from a “SHOP” which took 6 weeks to arrive. When we told him that “BBS” has already officially filed for bankruptcy on July 2020, he was greatly in shock.

A. This is a question that has been asked many times from our acquaintances and clients all around the world. The fact is that you are only being told WHAT YOU NEED TO BELIEVE and not WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW. If the seller tells you the wheel is made from “USA”, “JAPAN”,” GERMANY”,” MALAYSIA”,” THAILAND”, the hurtful truth is that you are INDUCED TO BELIEVE the wheels are from that country. Sellers around the world constantly use this tactic to upsell the wheels at a greater profit.

Unfortunately, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE for a person who does not have in-depth knowledge of engineering manufacturing to check, see or feel the physical wheel to gauge what process it was manufactured from. Sellers around the world constantly use this tactic to upsell the wheels are a greater profit.

The fact is that a shipment will cost almost USD $600-$900 for a set of 20” wheels to be shipped from USA to south-east Asia region. Vice Versa. Relate this back to the final cost you are paying to the seller for your “NEW SET OF FORGED WHEELS” and make your own judgement does this make any financial sense.

Unfortunately, this is a very grey and dark industry which is unregulated. The most disturbing fact we are most concerned about is innocent buyers buying “NEW”, however “REFURBISHED” wheels.

Fortunately, Dwarf Racing® is here to change the entire industry standards.

A. At Dwarf Racing®, we are extremely proud to present the “WORLD’s FIRSTcutting-edge seal of authenticity technology to the world after years of trials and evaluations. Every single piece of forged Monoblock wheel is coded and security locked with a specific identity QR Code for AUTHENTICATION and OWNERSHIP.

With just any modern mobile phone equipped with a camera, you will be able to scan the AUTHENTICITY and technical specifications of the wheel. It will link automatically to our dedicated cloud-based server showing the entire details which includes date of purchase, original owner, manufactured date etc.

A. All Dwarf Racing® raw material comes predominantly from china and eastern Europe, however; designed, crafted, coded, authenticated, developed, quality check and final assembly is in SINGAPORE and shipped worldwide to our network of dealers.

When we have decided to go global, we investigated and examine several factories and took recommendations from existing partners. Our current manufacturing partner meets all our technical pre-requisites, quality and logistics support and in fact is a manufacturer for several “INTERNATIONAL” big brands.

A. YES and NO. In the world of inertia engineering, lighter is always better. Rotational mass, lesser energy required to move the object, handling capabilities and so on. However, do take note that there is a recent trend of marketing tactics used by marketers and sellers to “HIGHLIGHT” the weight of the wheel as the selling point.

However, in the world of engineering, lighter does not always mean better. A “FLOW FOAM” cast wheel can be easily made to be very light with lesser material. The fact is that a “FLOW FOAM” manufactured wheel is cheaper because it uses lesser material to manufacture. Ultimately, the material used, and the manufacturing process determines the final weight of the wheel.

A. Unfortunately, YES. Most of the time, major manufacturers around the world will not go through the trouble to mimic a “CAST WHEEL” to look like a “FORGED WHEEL”. Cast wheels are normally made in high volume, in the thousands. Generic offsets, designs, pcd to suit many types of cars. Often, a “FLOW FOAM” wheel will be subjected to additional CNC works to replica the looks of a “FORGED WHEEL”. Often, in the recent trend. Words like “LIGHTWEIGHT”, “HIGH PERFORMANCE”, “FLOW FOAM FORGED” will be used to upsell these inferior products for greater profits. In reality, it is very easy to use a CNC machine to a carve words or letters on the surface of the finished “CAST WHEEL” or “FLOW FOAM WHEEL”.

In summary, a cast wheel or flow foam wheel can be replicated to look like a genuine “FORGED WHEEL”. In engineering reality, there is nothing “FORGED” on a “FLOW FOAM”, “FLOW FORGED”, “FORGED FUSION” advertised wheel.

A. YES, of course. You can always go for a cheaper option to use knock offs which look aesthetically pretty. They are still usable. But that is provided if the vehicle is lightweight (below 1100kgs/2400lbs) and you do not travel at high speeds. (in excess of 120km/hr or 74 mph) These figures are estimated with perfect flat road conditions, without factoring in bumps and portholes. However, we drive on uneven roads most of the time.

A. YES and NO. To the trained eye, if you were to put a wheel in front of us, we will be able to tell how it was manufactured. By looking at just photos, you may not be able to tell how the wheel was manufactured.

A. YES. Indeed, they are cheap, that is why it cost ONLY around USD $110-$120 Million to produce one Boeing 737-800 airplane. Which is the most common commercial airplane used around the world today.

Jokes aside, scrap metals are cheap. Which is considered as discarded metal suitable for reprocessing, they are leftover products from the final milled product or recyclable metals.

However, a solid forged block of any metal which is used to craft out a specific specimen is extremely expensive.

A. No. We do not.

A. In our opinion, it is 100% safer to use stock/factory wheels than to buy unbranded, cheap knock-off wheels just for aesthetic purposes. We have seen countless broken wheel spokes, cracked wheels, broken off center cap, hairline cracks on so many inferior aftermarket wheels through this 15 years.

A. 2-piece wheels have rims fabricated separately from the centers and then fastened together, usually with bolts. 3-piece wheels take this a step further and split the rim in 2 pieces so offsets and widths can be easily varied. A properly done 1 piece wheel is theoretically technically superior, but there are lots of variables.

A one-piece wheel, properly made, is a God-given piece of engineering that is worth an eternal admiration. Based on manufacturing process alone, a one-piece wheel should cost at least 50% more than a 3pc wheel. Forging it is more difficult and expensive, it involves heat compacting, machining is more time consuming and requires several steps and coating is also more difficult.

Multi-Piece Construction

Advantages: high availability of widths and offsets, low cost of replacement parts for repairs, high availability of styles/designs.

Disadvantages: Spun rim halves (not forged), prone to cracking and bending, vibration under heavy rain, air leakage due to improper sealing, high cost due to labor, heavier than one-piece, higher repair cost due to labor.

At Dwarf Racing®, we highly encourage 1 piece fully forged Monoblock for all applications, however, we can also manufacture 2 or 3 piece forged wheels.

A. YES. Dwarf Racing® is a legal registered company in SINGAPORE. Trademarked and all rights reserved. Our company lawyers will not hesitate to file an international lawsuit against any entity or individual who tries to replicate or copy any of our collaterals.

A. One of Dwarf Racing’s Main Core Principles is QUALITY, as such, our AVIATION GRADE raw metals are periodically tested to ensure the strictest and highest quality control. Making sure our clients around the world are pampered with the best quality products.

Not just words or marketing gimmicks. Being a legal registered entity in SINGAPORE, every product Dwarf Racing manufacture is automatically subjected to legal compensation in accordance with the purchased price.  (Think again, does any manufacturer gives you that peace of mind or guarantee? We guess not.)

A. The only competitors we see is ourselves, we strive to innovate the best products to the world. It is more accurate to say that Dwarf Racing® is not interested in making cut-rate products in order to compete with the entry level of any market. We never had an objective to sell a low-cost product. Our primary objective is to sell a GREAT PRODUCT and provide a GREAT EXPERIENCE, and we figured out a way to do it at a lower cost.

Dwarf Racing® pricing strategy involves setting the initial price and then providing a plan for changes of prices in the future.

The pricing of something usually depends on three major factors:

-The cost of raw materials and services involved in making the product. (At that point of time)

-The miscellaneous costs which include sales tax import and export duties etc.

-The profit generated for business sustainability.

A. Magnesium wheels are wheels manufactured from alloys which contain mostly magnesium. Magnesium wheels can be produced either by casting or forging. Magnesium wheels proved to be impractical because they were prone to corrosion and they were mostly used in dedicated racing sports. However, magnesium wheels are light wheels, much lighter than steel or aluminum wheels. The magnesium alloy might be durable, but it does have its limits and the biggest downside is the price. The demand from major automotive manufacturers is low, thus, making it extremely expensive to produce.

Magnesium metal and its alloys are explosive hazards; they are highly flammable in their pure form when molten or in powder or in ribbon form. Burning or molten magnesium metal reacts violently with water. The downside of these wheels, however, was that they did not last long, and were potentially flammable. Today “MAGNESIUM” wheels do not actually contain magnesium but just another marketing term.

A. Cheap inferior wheels warp easily over time, the easiest way to test it is to bring the vehicle to any tire/wheel shop and have it balanced. After balancing, drive the vehicle normally like you do for a good 3 months. After which do a balancing again. If your wheels/tires are off balanced, you know it is wrapped to a certain degree.

A. Depending on the severity of the warped wheel, your steering wheel will start to vibrate from as low as 80km/hr / 50 mph to 200km/hr / 124 mph. Driving faster on a set of warped wheels will create more vibrations as the speed goes higher. However, there are also many factors that can affect vibrations, most commonly brakes disc/rotors, brake pads, worn tires, alignment, suspension components etc.

A. We have helped countless friends & acquaintances over the years solving their “vibration” issues. Many people spend thousands and thousands of dollars at workshops & garages only to have their problems unsolved. Changing out engine mountings, differential mountings, suspension, brakes, tires etc.  So, either the workshops are incompetent or dishonest. Many people failed to see the importance of a good quality wheel on a vehicle. Often, their problems are solved when we advise them to put back the factory/stock wheels when we see them using cheap unbranded aftermarket wheels.

A. Unfortunately, NO. Chat with us live to confirm your technical specifications, once confirmed, payment received. We will initiate the process with our CNC structural engineers, then to our finishing department and so on. Please understand that the process is a multi-stage process, where the strictest quality checks are enforced at every department. As such, we cannot stop once we initiate the first process.

A. For shipments to the USA, we normally use FEDEX. To Europe and other parts of the world, we will use DHL. However, this may change from time to time without prior notice. We also emphasize logistics as one of our core factors to ensure the products are shipped in the most careful manner to reach our clients’ front door in perfect condition. For local (SINGAPORE) deliveries, we have our own team of partnered logistics to assist.

A. Dwarf Racing® is assured with insurance if the wheels are damaged upon receiving. Please take as many photos as you can (minimum 3) and send it to us. We will do the replacement free of charge. Do also understand that we are unable to control certain external factors which causes the wheels to be mishandled, thus causing damage when our clients receive them. Our products are in 100% perfect condition when it leaves us.

A. Unfortunately, at Dwarf Racing®, we do not do refurbishment or repairs. Technically speaking, to “repair” a wheel is very dangerous and not advisable, it affects the structural integrity of the original wheel. We can do a minimum order of 2 wheels to replace the damaged ones. However, do expect that there will be a 5-10% difference in the color appearance, as dust, grime and dirt builds up over time. The new wheels will never look exactly as the old one even with the same color code or the same electroplated color. As such, we always recommend purchasing a new set of wheels. Well, it is always refreshing to have a new look. Out with the old, in with the new.

A. 100% YES if your car is rear wheel drive (RWD). Most high-performance sports car come original with staggered wheel fitments, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, Pagani, Lotus, BMW etc. Staggered wheel fitment on RWD land vehicles which includes Go-Karts, Superbikes & F1 can dramatically improve road traction, achieve higher cornering speeds, high speed stability, faster/better launches off-the-line. Given the fact that many high-performance land vehicles have their engines placed at the rear of the chassis, this improves the overall dynamics of the chassis, which is further enhanced with a wider and larger rear wheel dimension.

A. YES, you can still decide to run a staggered wheel fitment on any all-wheel drive (AWD) land vehicle. Not only will it look aesthetically nicer, but it also helps with cornering and stability abilities. However, do note that there is a manufacturer stated margin of error for every individual car, you will have to check with the recommended specifications. Take note that going “out of specs” may cause the vehicle’s electronic stability functions to operate inefficiently.

A. Generally, all cars and even high-performance cars exit from the factory with very conservative offsets. Making the vehicle resemble wearing a “skirt” from the back view. (Chassis wider than the wheels) We often advice our clients to measure the distance from the upper tip of the current wheel to the tip of the top fender chassis lining. Minus off 10mm, and you should have an aggressive wheel fitment however still staying conservative.

To avoid tire rubbing against the fender linings, do note that tire size also plays a part. If you were to go with 10mm wider tires, 5mm of rubber will protrude out from each side of the wheels. So do plan your new tire set up properly.

Current wheel alignment (especially camber degree) also plays a part in deciding offsets for your new wheels. (For example, if you have measured all the way for a super aggressive wheel offset and your current camber degree is -3, you will have to maintain -3 on your new wheel set up as well, adjusting it to -2 will cause your new wheels to rub)

If you decide to go with a super aggressive wheel offset (WHICH WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND), measuring it all the way to the tip of the fender lining, you may have to roll your fenders to avoid the tires rubbing against fender lining.  Feel free to contact us for any support/help, we are always here to help our clients.

A. YES but NO. Because we only recommend single piece forged mono-block wheels with aggressive offsets, the chances of fitment issues with big brake kits are close to zero. We recommend at least a minimum spacing of 3mm between the spokes and your big brake calipers on any cars.

A. When appropriately maintained, chrome wheels will last many years because they have one of the strongest wheel coatings. The electroplating procedure makes chrome wheels highly resilient and tolerant to corrosion, in addition to rendering a polished finish. However, this sturdiness depends on regular maintenance. If chrome wheels are not maintained properly, they can become dirty and murky rapidly; and over an extended time period, can deteriorate and lead to flaking because of accumulated brake dust and road salts.

As such, we recommend Dwarf Racing®’s custom chemical blended maintenance kit; “ELIMINATOR DR-01” and “GREEN MONSTER DR-01” to ensure the shine and cleanliness of the wheel, which is also safe and effective to be used on any painted surfaces.

A. It goes the same for any electroplated metals, when appropriately maintained, they will last many years. When neglected, the color goes dull after a couple of years, which is the same for all paint coated applications. Even your roof tiles, car exterior paint, home appliances, wall paint will fade if they are neglected.

A. Here is the HURTFUL truth for you, most retailers out there will tell you that the wheels they are selling are “Powder Coated”, in recent years, this is just another marketing term that has been misused by many to upsell their products. Making consumers feel and assume that they are getting more for what they are paying.

Basically, Powder coating is a dry coating process used as a metal finish mostly on industrial equipment. Powder coating is applied as dry powder through an electrostatic process, then cured with heat. When you JUST ADD 1% of powder material, it can also be considered as “POWDER COATED”.

The invention of Powder Coating gives consumers, businesses, and industries one of the most economical, longest lasting, and most color-durable quality finishes available on virtually any type of metal. Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than other finishes.

Thus, most of them are consider in our engineering terms as “Colored Lacquer” with a fine bit of powder coating. If you want to see a perfect example of a “POWER COATED” finishing that serves its purpose. Look at HONDA’s TYPE R variant high performance engine valve cover. It is heavily “POWER COATED” which causes it to have a rough crumple surface in signature red.

A. Here is the TRUTH for you. POWDER COATING wheels weaken them, YES, if it is done in the extreme procedure, it also depends on how the wheel is manufactured. (Cast, Flow Foam, Forged) The amount of basic heat required to powder coat a wheel is enough to pre-maturely "age" and weaken the metal alloy to the point that it is more brittle. This is exactly why reputable wheel makers like Enkei states that powder coating voids their warranty. (Cast Aluminum Wheels)

A. In the event where our clients decide to respray or re-color the existing original wheels that came out of our factory. All authentications will be voided, we will not be responsible for any damages nor any re-authentication.

A. Types of application, road conditions, abusive usage, wear & tear. Even MotoGP and F1 use race specific components that are also put under extreme conditions during racing, some of these parts may last only a few hours. For example, road tires on normal street bikes and street performance cars are made with different compounds that can last for thousands of miles. Race tires are made with stickier, softer compounds to provide the grip needed to keep the vehicles from sliding off the track in the corners. These tires, which can withstand higher temperatures, have a drastic shorter life span.

A. What are duties? Customs duties are a type of tax on cross-border goods that are collected by customs as government revenue and to protect local industries.

What types of duties are there? Common examples include anti-dumping taxes, trade tariffs, export duties and excise duties. They are mostly in the form of import duties, which apply to goods entering a country.

Who pays duties? Most duties are paid by the importer. Export duties are paid by the exporter.

What are taxes? They are government fees placed on purchased goods coming into a country (imported). Even though the goods have been purchased abroad, this consumption tax still applies and must be collected by customs when goods enter a country.

What types of taxes are there? Sales tax, value-added tax (VAT) and goods and services tax (GST) are practically the same thing, however the name and rate varies by country. Example tax rates can be 0%, 10%, 20% or more, depending on the country and product.

Who pays taxes? Taxes are usually paid by the importer.

In summary, the duties and taxes all depend on the country you are ordering from. We ship out from SINGAPORE.

A. YES and NO. You are most welcome to visit our showroom currently located in SINGAPORE. We have our full range of colors and exotic design displayed. You can for ONCE IN YOUR LIFE feel and touch, the exact forged aluminum 6061-T6 mono-block that goes into production. However, due to COVID-19 situation at this point of time we are unable to disclose our production facility information and no visitors are allowed. We have signed certain non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and consortium agreements that do not allow us to expose our facilities as well.

A. NO, at this point of time we do not support the installation. Do bring your Dwarf Racing® Forged wheel to any of our AUTHORIZED DEALERS, if there are none around your area, do select a reputable wheel/tire shop of your choice to have them installed. The installation of wheels is straight forward and easy, however, extra care must be taken to avoid scratches or unwanted damages throughout the process. We WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE should the wheel be damaged during installation.

As such, we highly recommend Dwarf Racing®’s custom made “KEY DR-01” to lock and unlock any wheel bolts or nuts. They are specially made to protect the wheel from any scratches while removing and during installation.

A. NO. Dwarf Racing® only sell our own products and we own full proprietary rights to them.

A. At this point of writing, NO. Dwarf Racing® is independent and standalone. However, we are in discussion with a few brands around the world to collaborate and manufacture specific products for them. We will only release information on our newsletters when proceedings have been confirmed.

A. In a perfect world, package delivery would occur on time without any issues or delays. But, in some instances, shipments can arrive with damage, faults, and incorrect attributes.

A typical order can take from 6 weeks to 12 weeks, depending on the country you are located at.

Shipping delays, as well as receiving damaged goods, can occur daily. Unsatisfied customers are eager to find out why they occur and how soon they will receive the package or compensation.

Global current events can have a big effect on shipping if they prevent supply chains from operating normally. We have seen this in the current global pandemic. Coronavirus shipping delays have been felt across the world, from China and Singapore to Italy, India, the UK, the rest of the world and US. FedEx shipping delays (and those of other couriers) have increased due to lockdowns, curfews and other measures put in place by governments to help combat the disease.

Dwarf Racing® assures all our clients from around the world that once an order is placed and paid. We will be 100% committed to fulfil them. Do take note that we have many orders on back order and we are doing our best to fulfil all orders in the fastest and professional way while still maintaining strict quality control before they leave our factories.

A. Tips to note. If you have a spare tire and using aftermarket wheels, remember that the spare tire might not safely mount with aftermarket lug nuts or bolts. Either replace the spare tire with another aftermarket wheel or keep a set of factory lug nuts in the trunk/boot. If you try to mount a factory wheel with aftermarket lug nuts, you will be risking your life and the life of those around you as they are of different designs (regardless of the car you have). For a daily driver, It is always advisable to drive around with a spare - as it is not wise to remove the spare tire because you decided to shave out some weight. However, if you must, at least carry a repair kit.

A. In the unlikely event when the wheels are made “out of specifications” causing fitment issues, please notify us immediately through our contact number or through our email. Take as many photos or videos as possible using high precision measuring tools (digital vernier caliper etc) and send it to us. We will replace them free of charge.

A. Concave wheels have a center that dips inward instead of outward to create a curved, bowl-like effect. These wheels have spokes that start on the outer rim. Overall, concave wheels help you create a more modern, high end look for your vehicle without sacrificing any functionality.

Concave wheels not only look better than conventional wheels, but they also give out the appearance of a larger wheel. Concave wheels are also strong and capable of holding up over rough terrains without cracking under the pressure. These wheels are durable and add a huge amount of style quickly.

While some wheel trends last only a few years, it seems that concave wheels have only continued to grow in popularity. New deep concave wheels are now available with curved spokes that push even further toward the center of the hub. This means that it is a good thing to invest in for the long-term appearance of your vehicle.

A. We do ship our products internationally, as such, every country has their own dutiable goods. However, the good news is that most countries do not categorize land vehicle wheels or automotive parts as a dutiable item.

In the rare event that the package is held by the individual country’s custom for examination. As per Customs Border Protection (CBP) the importer/buyer shall bear any expense involved in preparing the merchandise for CBP examination and in the closing of packages.

We will not be responsible for any damages that may occur during or after that process.

A. Please do understand that each individual wheel finishing is “hand-made”. As such, human error is bound to happen sometimes, environment factor is a big issue too, especially for ELECTROPLATING finish. ELECTROPLATED metal products go through a series of process to achieve that colored chrome effect, they are being suspended in electro-charged water tanks containing special chemicals. However, we will still ensure 99% best to maintain the strict quality control to give all our clients 100% satisfaction.

A. Every set of Dwarf Racing® forged wheels that exits our factory will come with a free 1-year authentication service. After which, the owner must pay a small fee yearly to upkeep the CLOUD SERVER AUTHENTICATION SERVICE. Dwarf Racing® will send an email/call/message to the registered owner 3 months in advance before the expiry date which starts from the date of purchase. In the event if the owner has lapse payment after the expiry date, the QR code authentication will be deactivated, and will be purged from our systems.

A. Every new owner has their name registered on our authentication service system. In the event when you decide to sell the wheels to another potential buyer, you can email/contact us providing the details of the second owner, the new owner will be reflected under the “second owner” in the authentication system. We do charge a small administration charge for this and the second owner will be accountable for the yearly authentication system maintenance.

A. Wheel fasteners are critical parts of your vehicle because they keep the wheels attached to the hub. Sizes and models vary depending on your car model. Securing the wheels to the hub involves different types of lug nuts or bolts, stripped or damaged lug nuts/bolts can be very DANGEROUS, so be sure you are using the correct type for the vehicle.

Wheel fasteners come in mainly 2 types, a wheel nut or a wheel bolt. European cars mostly use wheel bolts and Asian cars mostly use wheel nuts.

They come in all sorts of sizes, mainly m12 x 1.25, m12 x 1.5, m14 x 1.25, m14 x 1.5.

3 Main Types of Seat Type
- Tapered / Conical
- Ball / Radius
- Flat

Do take note the shape of the wheel or nut as well, this is normally determined by the wheel design. At Dwarf Racing®, our wheels are all designed to fit conical/tapered type of wheel bolts or nuts. Most OEM, original wheels are designed to fit ball/radius type of wheel bolt or nuts.

Be very careful when you are purchasing a brand-new set of wheel nut or bolt, using a wrong type is DANGEROUS as the wheels will not be secured to the wheel hub properly.

Do contact us if you need help.

A. In the event if you need a replacement tag, kindly contact us. We will initiate a replacement unit and send it to you, however, this is chargeable for a small fee.
