DRF-A01 Forged

Dwarf Racing® presents to the world our first successful prototype which has been in development for the past year, it all started from the fundamental building blocks of engineering. “DRF-A01” which is also known as Dwarf Racing® Forged. We wanted to craft a wheel that encompasses STRENGTH, DESIGN & AERODYNAMICS. Multiple technical drawings were being drafted out, multiple prototypes were being made and tested. The “SLITS WITHIN THE SPOKES” are precisely designed without compromising the structural integrity of the wheel. While still being able to lose weight on the entire wheel, the slits are designed with aerodynamics in mind.

As technology explains, the faster an object moves through the air. The more force/power is required to move object to obtain a higher speed. (Aerospace) Air inevitably acts as an “invisible” barrier against any fast-moving object.

The slits not only act as a “tool” to cut through the air, but it also helps to channel hot gasses emitting out from the braking system.

Utilizing the “STATE OF THE ART” 5 AXIS computer numerical control (CNC) in precision engineering, we crafted this masterpiece out from a single piece of forged 6061-T6 Monoblock mated to a full Aluminium Center Cap.

Through multiple prototype testing, we successfully manage to design a wheel that encompasses EXOTIC STYLING DESIGN, AERODYNAMICS, WEIGHT REDUCTION & STRENGTH. The final product weight of a 19-inch wheel weighs in at an impressive figure of 9.4kg / 20.7 Lbs which is rated at 880kg max load.

Finishing it off with our “Raw Brushed Aluminium” technology to exhibit the rawness of a fully CNC metal product. Color option is coded with our “Champagne Rose Gold” being displayed on this set of wheels.
